The Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro successfully conducted the Scientific Article Writing Training in Management for MM students on February 27–28, 2026. This activity marked the first session of a structured training series aimed at equipping students with fundamental knowledge of academic writing and scientific publication.

In this initial session, the training focused on introducing scientific articles and journal literacy. Students were provided with a comprehensive understanding of the importance of scientific articles in academia, the structure of scholarly writing, and the various types of articles in the field of management.

The program began on Friday, February 27, 2026 (13:00–15:00 WIB) with a session delivered by Lala Irviana on the fundamentals of scientific articles. This session covered the differences between scientific and non-scientific writing, the role of scientific articles, and the publication ecosystem involving authors, reviewers, editors, and journals.

This was followed by a second session on the same day (15:00–17:00 WIB) delivered by Aktsar Hamdi Tsalits, focusing on the basic structure of scientific articles. Students learned about the essential components of an article, including title, abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, and discussion.

On the second day, Saturday, February 28, 2026, the training continued with two additional sessions. The first session (08:00–10:00 WIB) was delivered by Mirwan Surya Perdana, who discussed effective strategies for reading scientific articles. Students were trained to read strategically and identify key elements such as research problems, research gaps, and contributions.

The final session (10:00–12:00 WIB) was presented by Rizal Hari Magnadi on types of scientific articles in management. This session introduced students to various article types, including empirical studies, conceptual papers, literature reviews, and meta-analyses, as well as guidance on selecting appropriate formats for MM students.

All sessions were held at the Computer Laboratory Room, 2nd Floor, using an interactive learning approach that encouraged active participation and in-depth discussion.
