The Master of Management Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University, is hosting a Scientific Article Writing Workshop in the Field of Management specifically for MM students from April 18 to 25, 2026. This event is part of a series of training sessions aimed at enhancing students’ academic skills in producing high-quality, publication-ready scientific articles.
Entering the third session (April series), the training focused on helping students translate research designs into well-structured scientific manuscripts in accordance with academic writing standards. Participants were guided to systematically develop each section of a research article, from introduction to discussion.
The program commenced on Saturday, April 18, 2026 (12:00–17:00 WIB) with sessions delivered by Dr. I Made Bayu Dirgantara. The topics covered included theory development, conceptual framework, research method formulation, as well as writing literature reviews and methodology as an integrated research narrative.
The next session was held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 (10:00–12:00 WIB), featuring Foza Hadyu Hasanatina, who discussed writing the introduction as a research problem narrative. In this session, students learned how to construct a logical flow in the introduction, starting from general context to identifying the research gap and defining research contributions.
The training concluded on Saturday, April 25, 2026 (12:00–14:00 WIB) with Dr. Kardison Lumban Batu, who delivered material on writing results and preliminary discussion. Students were trained to present findings objectively and link them to relevant theories and previous studies in the discussion section.
All sessions were conducted at the MM Hall, 4th Floor, Prof. Soewito Room, using an interactive approach that allowed students to actively engage in discussions and develop their article drafts during the training.
Through this program, MM students are expected not only to design sound research but also to effectively communicate their work in the form of scientific articles that meet the standards of national and international journals.
