Semarang, November 2025 — Diponegoro University (UNDIP) proudly marks another remarkable achievement by securing the 106th position in Asia and the 25th position in Southeast Asia in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2026. This milestone highlights UNDIP’s continuous journey toward becoming a world-class university that is both dignified and impactful.
The university has shown consistent improvement in recent years. According to the QS WUR data, UNDIP’s ranking in Asia has risen significantly—from 200 in 2023, 177 in 2024, 134 in 2025, to 106 in 2026. In Southeast Asia, UNDIP’s position has also advanced impressively, from 47 in 2023, 43 in 2024, 31 in 2025, to now 25 in 2026.
The Rector of Diponegoro University expressed gratitude and appreciation to all members of the academic community for their dedication and collaboration. “This improvement reflects UNDIP’s strong commitment to maintaining academic excellence, impactful research, and continuous contribution to society and sustainable development,” he stated.
