Diponegoro University Master of Management Study Program on November 21, 2023 held a Company Visit to PT Industri Jamu dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk as one of the leading companies in Indonesia to see, get to know, and learn about existing management and business practices and the company’s work culture.
One of the things we visit is Agro-tourism, the existence of Agro-tourism PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk aims to collect medicinal plants and germplasm preservation especially prioritized on rare or endangered plants. Most of the collection consists of medicinal plants for herbal ingredients used by the industry and others are still being explored from nature.
In 1999, the opening of a special area for the location of the medicinal plant collection was pioneered, which was finally designed as artistically as possible and interesting to see and visit. Officially the place is used as an agro-tourism object specifically for medicinal plant collections that are designed to be integrated, between medicinal plant collections and garden designs and other infrastructure.
