The seminar began with a discussion on the philosophical foundation of Outcome-Based Education, providing participants with insights into the principles underlying this approach.
OBE, which emphasizes student competency achievement as the key indicator of learning success, is considered increasingly relevant in addressing the challenges of a rapidly changing global education landscape.

Subsequent sessions focused on graduate profiles and competency frameworks, where participants learned the importance of designing clear and measurable competencies aligned with professional demands.
Further discussions on curriculum mapping and learning outcomes underscored the need to align curriculum design with expected competencies to ensure optimal learning achievement.

Another key topic covered was Assurance of Learning (AoL), an essential component for ensuring that learning processes meet established quality standards. Participants received guidance on measuring and evaluating learning outcomes and on conducting continuous improvement to enhance academic quality.

As the keynote speaker, Prof. Drs. B.M. Purwanto, M.B.A., Ph.D., delivered an in-depth presentation on OBE implementation in higher education, discussing both the challenges and opportunities involved.
The seminar successfully fostered an engaging and productive forum for exchanging ideas and best practices on OBE implementation among academic leaders and program managers.

The Master of Management Program, Universitas Diponegoro (MM UNDIP) played an active role in this national event as part of its commitment to continuously enhance curriculum quality and learning processes through Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
MM UNDIP’s involvement in the APMMI forum reflects its strong contribution to the development of academic practices aligned with national and international standards, reinforcing its reputation as one of Indonesia’s leading master’s programs in management.
