In his presentation, Tuesday, July 27 2021, MM Undip guest lecturer, Dr. Mirwan Ushada, provides a complete picture of a holistic understanding of engineering through Kansei Intelligent Engineering.
So far, engineering tends to be discussed only from the upstream side, so that social science students tend to be less interested in understanding the concept. In fact, engineering is very influential in shaping the internal conditions of the organization, making work patterns, work methods optimally and helping to cover the weaknesses of team members.
One example of a topic regarding engineering is e-money or e-banking. Although these designs were available several years ago, their use has become widespread since the Covid19 pandemic began. From the management side, much has been discussed about the theory of TAM / Technology Acceptance Model – what drives people to accept and use a technology, but in many cases the discussion about planning products and services like what consumers want tends to be limited.
Dr. Mirwan Ushada is a scientist who has received many awards, one of which is the Armand Blanc Prize from Germany. He also has several patents, mainly related to agro-industrial production systems.
